Virginia Tech Intramural Sports

The intramural program offers not only team sports but also individual tournaments and competitions. In the fall, students can register to play a Hearts tournament, a card game that involves trying to avoid accepting any card of the heart suit. Fall is also the time to register for table tennis, bowling singles, 8-Ball singles and a putt-putt golf tournament.

The tournament format is run differently depending on what sport or game you are playing, but may be carried out in a single-elimination bracket format, or as a series. In the spring, students can choose to play wallyball, team darts or kickball. They can even participate in a sports trivia competition or a wiffleball tournament. Virginia Tech Intramural Sports
