A BIG 180 from Dave Benton of Chequers was not enough as his side were narrowly beaten by White Horse Barking in the latest round of matches in the Barkingside & District Darts League.
Dr Johnson hammered Upland 10-5, while in the other Division One fixture, LPR sneaked past Hainault WMC 8-7.
It was a week of cliffhangers in Division Two as Barking Football SC lost at home 8-7 to Harrow as Hawbush beat Aldbor0ugh 9-6 and Bull won 8-7 at Prince of Wales.
