"#DARTS FROM THE HEART" BENEFIT SHOOT FOR RICHARD LAWRENCE A.K.A. PANCHO

Pass it on to a fellow dart player:

"DARTS FROM THE HEART" BENEFIT SHOOT FOR RICHARD LAWRENCE A.K.A. PANCHO (also find this on facebook)

Saturday, August 4, 2012 12:00pm
DOLPHIN LOUNGE, 1274 SOUTH MAGNOLIA AVE., ANAHEIM, CA

This is an effort to raise funds for Karen Mack Lawrence and Richard Lawrence. I just learned that Richard is in Long Beach Memorial hospital with cancer. He is in grave condition at may not make it to the 4th. Either way we will be celebrating his life and raising funds to help with medical bills.

Richard is one of the first people I met when I moved to Orange County, California 15 years ago. He is an outgoing, fun, caring and all around great guy. He has been a huge supporter for steel tip darts in southern California for many many years. He is a former board member for the Pacific Darts Association, a former member of the SCDA and a current Royal Hawaiian All Star Darting Association member.

We need to show Richard & Karen that the darting community is there when one of our trusted partners are down. So please join us on August 4th at 12PM at the Dolphin Lounge, 1274 Magnolia Ave. Anaheim CA to show your support.

This is a Hawaiian / Luau themed event, so wear your Hawaiian shirts, play some darts, eat lots of food, give generously, and have fun to honor Richard and all of the laughter, love and friendship he has shared with you throughout the years!
Also, we are in desperate need of raffle prizes! If you would like to donate a raffle prize for this event please send an email to PK0026@aol.com or message me on facebook (kim L.) Thanks very much for all of your support and we hope to see you on August 4th.

Entry Fee: $10.00
50/50 Raffle
Food is available
Donations will be accepted at the event
Also, There is a link below for donations online. Please give as generously as you can and send prayers and good wishes of support to the both of them in this trying time.

THE DOLPHIN LOUNGE
1274 S. MAGNOLIA AVE.
ANAHEIM, CA

Everyone knows Loree Clark, the owner of the Dolphin Lounge, and if you don't, you should. She's is a great lady, always fun to be around and does everything possible to support darts in Orange County. Well she fell and broke her hip a few weeks ago and we want to do something to help her out. If you guys want to play darts at the Dolphin or just want the option of continuing to have a great dart bar (6 soft tip boards & 5 steel tip boards) you will come down and join us on April 7th and bring a friend. Great food, great drinks, good music and excellent darts all day and night

Come down and bring friends to help Loree in this very difficult time in her life. We are going to BBQ and you can bring your favorite side dish. We are going to try and get her out for a short visit with everyone so be there and show her how much she is loved and supported. There will be soft tip dart tournaments throughout the day & night. Raffles & music & fun!!!!

Former PDC marker and players' marshall Eddy passed away suddenly in December 2008, with the Benefit Evening held in tribute and to raise funds for his family.

Eddy's brother Tommy Cox, the PDC Tournament Director, has written the following tribute:
On behalf of the family of the late Eddy Cox I would like to place on record our sincere and heartfelt appreciation of everyone who attended and made last Saturday's Benefit Evening such an unqualified success. (full article...)
