Mother and daughter in final

Family friendship is likely to be conspicuous by its absence during the Cardigan & District Darts League ladies final.

For the first time in the long history of the league a mother and daughter will go head-to-head when Red Lion Inn licensee Nicola Jones clashes with her 15-year-old daughter Hayley.

At the semi-final stage Hayley sprang a 2-1 win against Louise Sommerville (Rampin) while Nicola won 2-0 against Phillippa Noble (Schooners).

In true champions style Bell Hotel bounced back from a narrow defeat at the hands of Gobaith to whitewash bottom of the pile Rugby Club.
