ATTENTION ALL LADIES

The Cleveland Dart Extravaganza 33 is proud to announce that it will be hosting a PDC Unicorn Women's World Championship Qualifier on Saturday, May 1st, 2010. Registration ends at 6pm, qualifying play to begin immediately after. The qualifier winner will be invited to participate in the Women's World Championship. More information about the Womens World Championship can be found in the March/April 2010 issue of Bulls-Eye News or you may contact Jay Tomlinson, PDC North American Coordinator at tomlinson.jay@gmail.com.

NORTH AMERICAN QUALIFIERS
The USA Qualifier will be held at the Cleveland Extravaganza tournament on Saturday May 1. This event will begin at 6pm and is being held at the Cleveland Airport Marriott, 4277 West 150th Street , Cleveland , OH , and will cost $20 to enter
The Canadian Qualifier will be held as part of the Le Skratch Sarantos Retsinas Memorial Dart Tournement, and the qualifier will be held on Saturday May 8 at 7.30pm. This event will be held at the Hellenic Community of Montreal South Shore Region, 5220 Grande Allée, Saint Hubert , Quebec , and will cost $20 to enter.
Two women will qualify for the last 32; one will come from the USA and one will come from Canada .
The entry fees for both events will be awarded to the winner for airfare expenses for their travel to the UK to compete in Barnsley .

PDC CANADIAN & US UNICORN WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIERS

The PDC’s official darts equipment provider, Unicorn, will sponsor the 2010 Unicorn Women's World Championship. This competition is open and available to any female over 18 years of age. Qualifiers from Riley’s Dartzones (UK) and International associates will comprise the field of 32 players in the event which will be played at Barnsley Metrodome on June 12, 2010 down to the final two. The finalists will compete for the title live on Sky Sports at the Winter Gardens before the final of the World Matchplay.



There will be one qualifier for a Canadian player and one qualifier for a US player. Due to the urgency of the deadline, the Canadian qualifier (open to Canadian women residents) will be played in conjunction with the Le Skratch Sarantos Retsinas Memorial Dart Tournement, on Saturday, May 8th at 7:30 PM at the Hellenic Community of Montreal South Shore Region, 5220 Grande Allée, Saint Hubert, Quebec.

I just wanted to let you know that the Cleveland Darter Club will be holding the Cleveland Dart Extravaganza XXXII / 2009 the weekend of May 1-3, 2009 ($10,000+). The Region 4-6 Youth Regional will be held in conjunction with the Tournament on Sunday, May 3. There will be Youth events on Saturday May 2 at the Tournament. Region 4-6 is willing to combine with any other adjacent regions in Area 4 to hold one Regional, if any of the other Regions would like, and hopefully we would have enough participants to be able to have girls and boys in separate brackets. Can you contact the Youth reps for the other Regions to see if any of them want to combine with 4-6? The last two years we have combined with Fort Wayne which I think is 4-1. THE EXTRAVAGANZA IS COMING BACK TO CLEVELAND!!!

The Cleveland Darter Club is proud to announce the return of the Cleveland Dart Extravaganza Dart Tournament on May 1-3, 2009 at the Cleveland Airport Marriott (4277 West 150th Street, Cleveland). After a 5-year hiatus, this will be the 32nd Extravaganza, with plans to carry on the tradition of this great tournament for many years to come!

The guaranteed payout will be over $10,000 and will kick off on Friday May 1 at 5:30 pm with our own Kleveland Killer event, and will continue throughout the weekend with three separate men's and women's singles events, 2 separate men's and women's doubles events, a mixed doubles event, a mixed triples event, and two blind draws, one on Friday night and one on Saturday night. Youth events are scheduled for Saturday and the ADO Youth Regional will be held on Sunday morning.

We are very happy to secure a fantastic venue for this event, and the Marriott is offering rooms at a very special rate of just $79 (plus taxes) . You can reserve a room by calling 216-252-5333. Make sure you ask for the Cleveland Darter Club darter rate when you call. The deadline for this special rate is April 10, 2009, but we recommend you book your room as soon as possible as availability is limited and we are expecting a great turnout.
