DARTS: Super Swan ease home as Cowley are sunk

Premier side Original Swan eased to a 7-2 win against Section 1’s Cowley Workers Social Club in the Greene King Oxford & District Darts Association.

Jon Jukes got Swan off to a good start as he beat Des Slezak 3-0.

The visitors hit back with Wayland Honour winning 3-2 against Peter Rouse.

The hosts then took control through Tim Tricker, Terry Woods, Nick Cobb (180) and Tony Allday. (full article...)

HIGHFIELD Social Club hold their Christmas open competition on Saturday.

Registration is from 11am with a midday start. Entry is £10.

DARTS: College Oak sit top of the tree

College Oak A are sitting proudly at the top of Section 1 in the Greene King Oxford & District Darts Association after completing the double over Premier side Shears with a 5-4 win.

They opened the clash at Shears when Wes Topley (180) defeated Kevin Wilkins.

The home side levelled when Pete Hall (180) beat Michael Wilkes, but Andy Povey restored College Oak’s lead by getting the better of Jim Pryde. (full article...)

DARTS: Sawyer hits hat-trick

Tony Sawyer hit an amazing three maximums in Marsh Harrier's 6-3 win over Prince of Wales A in men's Section 3.

Sawyer's hat-trick of 180s saw him triumph in the singles, with Steve James and Alan Hunter also among the winners for Marsh Harrier, who took the pairs 2-1 to seal victory.

Richard Wilson and Warren Bright were Prince of Wales's singles winners. (full article...)
