MANLEY THE MAGNIFICENT! 15 February 2007 Peter Manley continues to enjoy arguably the best week of his darting life, as he swept to another impressive victory to clinch his place in the semi-finals of the Masters of Darts in Holland.

Manley made it five wins out of five with a terrific win over teenage sensation Michael Van Gerwen by 3 sets to 2.

TAYLOR OUT IN HOLLAND AS LLOYD AND MANLEY POWER ON! 14 February 2007 Phil Taylor has failed in his bid to reach the semi-finals of the Masters of Darts, despite clinching only his second win of the tournament against Jelle Klaasen.

‘The Power’ crashed out of the event, because even if he wins his final group match against Vincent van der Voort, he cannot overhaul Peter Manley, Colin Lloyd or Mervyn King.

News & Star Manley out to prove he’s a Master of Darts

CARLISLE-BASED Peter Manley has been handed a wild card for the 2007 Masters of Darts in Holland next month. The world number four will complete the five-man England team for the tournament at Hengelo, which will see them take on their Dutch counterparts. Manley, a three-time World Championship finalist and former Las Vegas Desert Classic winner, joins Phil Taylor, Colin Lloyd, Wayne Mardle and Mervyn King in the England team.
