Professional dart player Cali West, of Syracuse, fell short in her bid to represent the United States at the World Masters competition in England in September.

West, who entered the tournament as the second-ranked female player in the United States, missed advancing from her bracket by two games in the round-robin tournament. (source link...)

The AMOA-National Dart Association is gearing up for an exciting Colorado State Dart Tournament, January 16-18, 2009 at the Embassy Suites Denver Tech Center. The tournament, classified by skill level, is open to all NDA sanctioned players. Interested players must sign up with their NDA Operator by December 10, 2008. Darts team in Namibia

GABORONE - The national darts team in Windhoek, Namibia for the Zone XI tournament has promised medals ahead of the tournament.
Speaking during the teams national colours presentation, the president of Botswana Darts Association (BODA) Mr Kegolotswe Morutwa said the players have gone through rigorous training and have had preparatory games.
Mr Morutwa said he hoped for nothing less than gold medals from the tournament, especially because the local team is well prepared and disciplined. (full article...)
