Priestley Back Up To Fifth DENNIS PRIESTLEY has moved back up to fifth in the world rankings following his win at the Blue Square UK Open South-West Regional Final.
The Yorkshireman picked up £5,000 for his win over James Wade in Bristol, moving him above Roland Scholten and Terry Jenkins into the top five of the Order of Merit.

PETER Manley has rocketed up three places to four in the new-look darts’ world rankings after raking in over £100,000 in prize money over the past two years.
The ranking system has changed to reflect winnings, following last week’s world championship final, when Dutchman Raymond van Barneveld stunned favourite Phil Taylor in a classic clash.

Beaton keeps place at the top oche
Former Embassy world darts champion Steve Beaton has maintained his place in the top 32 of the PDC rankings with a string of good results. Beaton, who lives in Southam, again qualified for the recent PDC World Championship in Purfleet, where he opened with a 3-0 whitewash of Canadian Gerry Convery. That performance included some clinical finishing, particularly on double top.
