COUNTY darts players Paula Jacklin from Gainsborough and Lincoln's Shelley Bontoft recently flew to Spain to compete in the Torremolinos Open Ladies Darts Pairs Championships.
They were up against very tough opposition from all over the world and played all day to reach the semis, where they were pitted against England internationals Louise Carrol and Linda Jones.

Pair's aim gains them titles in Spain
It was a successful Torremolinos Open for two Essex darts players as Manningtree’s Alan Collins and Colchester’s Jamie Robinson partnered each other to not only the men’s pairs title, but, with the aid of Oxfordshire’s Welsh International Linda Jones, they also captured the Mixed Triples Crown.
Tuesday saw the first significant action of the week long event, played on Spain’s sunshine coast, with the Singles competition. (full article...)

TIM "TEAPOT" JONES COMES CLOSE AS LINDA JONES MAKES IT A DOUBLE IN TORREMOLINOS
Tim ‘Teapot’ Jones, who became the first ever John Smith’s People’s Darts Champion at Lakeside in January, came close to winning on his first BDO tournament – which was part of his winning prize.
