Whyte & Mackay is spending £2 million on what it claims is its biggest marketing campaign to date.
The push, entitled Get In, will promote the company's renewed sponsorship of the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts tournament.
The campaign will include TV ads on Sky Sports, activity with national newspapers and an on-pack promotion giving consumers the chance to win a trip to the final on May 25 at Wembley Arena. Forty-six-inch TVs with Sky subscriptions will also be up for grabs.
A series of Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts Cash & Carry Depot Days will also take place across the country, giving retailers the opportunity to win a host of prizes including tickets to their local darts fixture.
Marketing director Nick Gaskin said: “Our first year of sponsorship generated huge brand awareness allowing us to grow our 18 to 34-year-old drinker base by 83% and our volume by 50%.
“Attendance at the events were record breaking and the Whyte & Mackay Premier League darts viewing figures, not only rocketed the sport to the second most watched on Sky, but created unparalleled recognition for our brand.”

Mervyn King is delighted to have finally made the Premier League, but is determined not to be an
also-ran and has set his sights on a winning debut in the tournament.
A successful season for King culminated with him reaching the semi-finals of the World Championship at
Alexandra Palace, a run which helped him up to sixth place in the PDC Order of Merit.

Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld will clash in the opening night of the new Premier League season, live on Sky Sports, on February 5.
As the fixtures for the 14 league nights of darting action were released, they revealed a huge opening-night battle between the two best players in the business.
Liverpool's Echo Arena will stage the first night of the Premier League, on Thursday February 5, and another huge crowd will see a rematch of the World Championship final - where Taylor thumped his big rival 7-1 to win a 14th title.

Arena set for a darts bonanza
JELLE KLAASEN and Wayne Mardle will complete the eight-strong line-up when the 2009 Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts gets under way at the ECHO arena next month.
The duo have been picked as the two wildcard selections for the £400,000 tournament and join the top six players from the PDC Order of Merit - Phil Taylor, James Wade, Raymond van Barneveld, John Part, Terry Jenkins and Mervyn King.
Last year’s Premier League proved to be a major hit, with Liverpool attracting the biggest attendance for a darts match in the UK for over 25 years.
Another capacity 8,000 crowd is expected at the ECHO arena for the opening night on Thursday, February 5.
Klaasen, the 2006 Lakeside champion and a quarter-finalist in the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship recently, is a newcomer to the Premier League.
The 24-year-old Dutchman celebrated his second year in the PDC by moving up to 25th in the Order of Merit, qualifying for the Blue Square UK Open, Las Vegas Desert Classic and European Championship before starring at Alexandra Palace.
He dropped only one set in wins over Colin Lloyd, Jan van der Rassel and Andy Hamilton before van Barneveld ended his hopes in the last eight.
“I’m delighted to be involved,” said Klaasen. “Behind the World Championship, the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts is one of the biggest tournaments to be involved in.
“It’s the top six players and you play each other twice, and for me it’s brilliant because I will get so much experience of playing on stage and in front of such big crowds.”
Mardle, ranked eighth in the PDC Order of Merit, returned to the Premier League in 2008 and narrowly missing out on a play-off place on the final league night.
A finalist in two Las Vegas Desert Classics and the World Matchplay, as well as a five-time World Championship semi-finalist, Mardle said: “I am over the moon. You’re playing in front of amazing crowds, who love the darting entertainment and all the stresses and pleasures that go with it - and I think it works for me!
“Hopefully I’ll give them loads to cheer about and I can’t wait for the first week in Liverpool.”
PDC chairman Barry Hearn said: “Both Jelle and Wayne will make this the most exciting field yet for the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts.
“I can’t wait for it to kick off next month, and I’m sure neither can the nearly 80,000 fans who will pack into venues around the UK in the next four months.”
The Premier League will tour 14 cities around the country before the play-offs are held at Wembley arena on Monday, May 25.
World champion Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor will be looking to defend his title and is a big favourite to claim the £125,000 first prize.
There are a limited number of tickets priced £20 still available for the opening night at the ECHO arena.

King Wins Premier League Spot
MERVYN KING will make his Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts debut in 2009 after earning a place in the PDC's top six.

Matt's in demand for darts
COMMENTARY legend Dave Lanning has pleaded with Poole speedway chief Matt Ford to add his weight to a south coast darts extravaganza.
Lilliput-based Lanning, who along with Sid Waddell is the voice of Sky Sports' PDC darts coverage, will be racking up a few more miles during next year's sell-out Whyte & Mackay Premier League after the Bournemouth International Centre was last week dumped by the corporation in favour of Exeter's Westpoint Arena.
But Lanning has urged Bournemouth to cash in on the darts boom in its own right - and believes businessman Ford, along with PDC chairman Barry Hearn, is the man to help spearhead a Southern Masters event.
