I managed to get through Shi Yongsheng and Tetsuya Wada without tying my tongue in a reef knot – and was amazed to learn through the Japanese lad’s interpreter that his favourite player was Cliff Lazarenko….the reason? “His name sounds Japanese”….. Priceless!
