Now he is happier following world champion Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor on to the oche and shaping the careers of Terry ‘The Bull’ Jenkins and Jelle ‘The Matador’ Klaasen.
On Friday, his darts bandwagon rolls on when the inaugural PDC Players’ Championship starts at the famed Circus Tavern in Purfleet.

Tickets on sale for big time darts at the Circus Tavern
TICKETS are now on sale for big time TV darts’ return to the Circus Tavern in January.The inaugural Players Champion-ship Finals will be held at the Purfleet venue – the former home of the PDC World Championship - from Friday, January 30 to Sunday, February 1.
The tournament, shown live on ITV4, will feature the top 32 players from Players Championship events held this year, including the Essex trio of Colin Lloyd, Wayne Mardle and Steve Maish.
Phil Taylor, who won 11 Players Championships this year, will be the number one seed and meets Michael van Gerwen in round one.
The first round will be played over two sessions on Friday, January 30, with the second round on Saturday afternoon, quarter-finals on Saturday evening, semi-finals on Sunday afternoon and the final on Sunday night.
Tickets are now on sale from the Circus Tavern Box Office on 01708 863838 or 01708 867271. All tickets are subject to Circus Tavern booking fee.
Prices are: Friday January 30 (1pm start): £15 (8x Round One); Friday January 30 (6.30pm start): £20 (8x Round One); Saturday January 31 (1pm start): £20 (8x Round Two); Saturday January 31 (6.30pm start): £25 (Quarter-Finals); Sunday February 1 (1pm start): £25 (Semi-Finals); Sunday February 1 (6.30pm start): £30 (Final). PDC Return To Circus Tavern
BIG-TIME darts will return to the Circus Tavern in January 2009 for the inaugural Players Championship Finals.
The Players Championship Finals will see the top 32 players from the Players Championship tournaments held throughout 2008 face off in front of the television cameras for £200,000, with £50,000 to the winner. (full article)
