THE Darts Regulation Authority have released the following statement:
Following the launch of the Snooker Integrity Unit earlier this month darts now has its own confidential integrity unit contact details.
Players and players' representatives can contact the Integrity Unit, anonymously or otherwise, via a Confidential Hotline to report approaches or leave information relating to any integrity issues.

THE DRA have released the following statement following the latest meeting of their Disciplinary Committee.
Darts Regulation Authority Disciplinary Committee Hearing
Monday January 4 2010
The Disciplinary Committee made determinations that:-
Colin Lloyd, at the Nuland Players Championship event in October 2009, failed to mark his game in accordance with the rules of the tournament.
Mr Lloyd was fined £100.
John Part at the Nuland Players Championship event in October 2009 failed to mark his game in accordance with the rules of the tournament.
Mr Part was fined £100.
Ted Hankey at the Grand Slam of Darts, Wolverhampton in November 2009 behaved in a manner likely to bring the game of darts into disrepute.
Mr Hankey was fined £250.
Andy Jenkins. The DRA considered the circumstances of an appeal made by Andy Jenkins relating to the findings of the DRA Disciplinary Hearing on November 26 2009. The appeal is now discontinued.
Mr Jenkins' original 24 month suspension begins on January 4 2010 and will end at midnight on 3rd January 2012.
As 20 months of this ban is suspended the active element of Mr Jenkins' ban will end at midnight on May 3 2010.
The player is eligible to play in any DRA sanctioned tournament from May 4 2010 onwards.
The original fine of £500 is now effective.
Appeal costs of £800 were incurred which are to be paid by the player to the DRA.
Anyone affected by a determination of the DRA Disciplinary Committee has a Right of Appeal in accordance with Rule 6.8 of the DRA Official Rule Book.
All money raised from players' fines is used to support the DRA Drug Testing Programme.

DRA Statement: Failure To Mark - 21 Apr 2009
THE Darts Regulation Authority Council at its meeting on April 17 2009 reviewed the penalty guidelines in light of the increasing number of 'failing to mark' offences being reported to the Disciplinary Committee.
The purpose of the DRA Disciplinary Committee is not only to decide on an appropriate sanction for an offence but more importantly to take action to prevent offences occurring in the first place.

First Offence - £100
Second Offence - £200
Third Offence - £400
Fourth Offence - consideration of suspension
As with all complaints made to the DRA, a player has the right to present their case to the Disciplinary Committee in writing or at a personal hearing before any determination is made.

Monday, December 01, 2008The Grand Slam begins with a round-robin format consisting of eight groups of four. Two players qualify from each group, with the competition becoming a straight knock-out from the last 16 onwards. On the Tuesday night Darryl Fitton played Gary Anderson in his last group match knowing that a 3-5 defeat would be enough for both players to automatically qualify – thereby rendering the later match between Kevin Painter and Paul Nicholson irrelevant, and eliminating both players.

DRA Issue Fines
CHRIS MASON, Phil Taylor and Steve Maish have been fined by the Darts Regulation Authority following the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship.
Mason was fined £750 and handed a four-month ban - suspended for 12 months - by the DRA for behaving in an unsportsmanlike manner during and after his third round match with Taylor.
Taylor was fined £400 for using inappropriate and unacceptable language during a television interview following the match.
The DRA's Disciplinary Committee also handed a £300 fine to Steve Maish for behaving in a dangerous manner following his defeat to Wynand Havenga.
