Darts Review 2008

Darts Review 2008
Taylor back on form in glorious 2008 for darting superstar

John Part was a surprise winner of the world title against an even more surprising finalist in qualifier Kirk Shepherd, who fell just short after a fairytale run at Alexandra Palace.

MARTIN Adams dramatically ended his long wait for Winmau World Masters glory on Sunday morning (7 December).
The Market Deeping legend had never previously managed to capture the second biggest tournament in the British Darts Organisation calendar, but he put that right in fine style by seeing off Scott Waites 7-6 in a final thriller.

‘Old pals act’ takes gloss off Taylor’s Grand Slam

Monday, December 01, 2008
The Grand Slam begins with a round-robin format consisting of eight groups of four. Two players qualify from each group, with the competition becoming a straight knock-out from the last 16 onwards.
