Adams and O'Shea into Winmau Masters semis

TONY O'SHEA earned the chance to break his duck in darts' majors after booking his place in Sunday's Winmau Masters semi-finals with some superb darts on Saturday.

The man from Stockport has come close to landing a big tournament on three occasions, but will never get a better chance after beating Ted Hankey to set up a clash with Scott Waites in the semis.

Long-time England captain Martin Adams faces Robert Wagner in the day's other semi-final with the final to be played shortly afterwards.

Adams, who won the BDO World title in 2007, is general favouriteat 7-4, with Waites 3-1, O'Shea 9-2 and Wagner 7-1.
