O'Shea/Fitton play their parts

DARTS: Stockport’s Tony O’Shea and Darryl Fitton were in the six-man England team that won the prestigious Six Nations Cup tournament in Northern Ireland on Sunday.

At the plush Everglades Hotel in Londonderry, England topped the earlier group stage of the competition after beating Scotland 13-7 and losing 13-12 to the Netherlands.

O’Shea and Fitton both played in those two early games, despite only five players from each team being required in each match. (full article...)

Nine dart finish boost for Gurney

LONDONDERRY darts professional Daryl Gurney received a great boost in confidence last night on the eve of this year's Six Nations Darts Tournament, by hitting a nine dart finish at a warm up event in Drumahoe
The event at the Traveller's Inn gave local arrows enthusiasts the opportunity to take their chances against the sports big names. And Daryl Gurney was joined at the local hostelry by fellow professionals Tony O'Shea and Daryl Fitton.
Earlier this year, all three of these professionals made a great impact at the BDO World Darts Championships at the famous Lakeside venue at Frimley Green in Surrey. (full article...)

Gurney ready for home coming competition

WATERSIDE man Daryl Gurney can't wait to throw at this year's Six Nations Darts Tournament, which takes place at Hastings Everglades Hotel, this weekend.
The international competition will see players from England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Holland all congregate in Londonderry once again on Saturday and Sunday and the 21 year old is excited at competing in front of his family and friends.
