Ranking event to go around

DARTS - Top darts guns face off in the zonal ranking tournament this weekend. The competition that will determine the top cream for the national team will be spread in five zones in the country, according to Uganda Darts Association official Gerald Khosam. UGANDA Darts Association

UGANDA Darts Association (UDA) has named six players to represent Uganda in two continental meets scheduled for Nairobi, Kenya and Maseru, Lesotho later this April.

Four men and two women with two reserves each form the core of Ugandan teams that shall compete in the East African Darts Federation Championships due April 6-9 in Kenya and the Africa Darts Championships set for April 27 - 30 in Lesotho.

Darts stars Ronald Kalete and Saul Mukasa are conspicuously missing on the team Uganda Darts Association has named for the East Africa Darts Federation championship in Nairobi next month.

Mukono’s rookie Ronnie Semambo is however a surprise inclusion on the team that includes six women named after the last trials at Makerere last weekend.
