Five time World Champion Raymond van Barneveld plus a special guest will be in action on Sunday, April 26, along with Mark Dudbridge, Colin Lloyd and Alan Warriner.

Darts players—beginners through to county players— from Angus, Dundee, Fife and elsewhere have begun taking part in heats at the Roods Bar in Kirriemuir on Saturdays, as well as The Vollies in Forfar on Sundays, for a chance to secure one of 40 places up for grabs to play against the professionals on the big stage in April.

Tickets have been selling well for the event which begins at 12 noon and runs through to midnight with live music from the Brass Monkeys in the evening.
