Together they have a passion and vision to increase fun and enhance the sport of soft tip darts in North America!   Meetings, sharing information and future planning, took place with visits this Spring, one to St. Louis and the other to San Francisco, with ADA Home Office Gloria Remick CEO and Karl Remick VP, meeting with DARTSLIVE US Rob Heckman COO.

The Meeting with My daughters Math teacher went very well. She is really excited about approaching the schools administration with the proposal to use Darts as a tool in the math classes.
This could be ground breaking material, I'll keep you up on the latest.

#darts ADO Region 2-2-National Qualifier 6/9/13

Finally home from a long day of running the events at the Dirty Bull. Joey Navardes and Eric Zarlenga won the draw doubles, Chris Holman won the qualifier for tomorrow's Regional, and Eric Zarlenga and I split the singles. Now 4 hours sleep before heading back down to the DB for the Regional.

Well, the ADO Region 2-2 National Qualifier is underway. There are 16 men (2 brackets of 8) and 9 women (a bracket of 5 and one of 4). We hope to have a live broadcast up and running shortly after 12 noon. Stay tuned!

#darts - Hail to the VICTORS!

Great job! Bryson Gibson & Howard Meyers won the Tuesday night men's qualifier! The 3 women going are Raylyn Williams, Julianne Richardson & Rene. We are happy to be sending 8 players (5 men & 3 women) to the National Qualifier at the Dirty Bull Tavern, Sunday, June 9th! We want to thank everyone that turned out and played in this qualifier. The three other mens winners are Paul Behl, Joseph Burt and Steve Whitehead, and we wish everyone luck at the National Qualifier!

We would also like to thank all of those that participate in our qualifier fundraisers, which helped us send a three women to the National Qualifier!

#darts - VCDA Open Local Qualifier tonight at the Benchwarmer - 6/4/13 at 7pm

I understand that many ADO leagues don't hold open qualifiers, but in hopes of growing the league and providing opportunity for area players the VCDA conducts Open Local ADO qualifiers regularly. It's something that most leagues should consider, not saying they would have to do a lot of them, but a few each year would help raise the competitive edge of players in the league. Just think of it, wouldn’t you spend $10 a session or so for any other type of lessons, if you don’t see yourself as competitive, think of qualifiers as Darts Boot camp!

Our goal is to qualify two men and two women to go to the National / Regional Qualifier at the Dirty Bull on Sunday, June 9th.
