McKeever's remain on the summit of the Nicholl's Supermarket sponsored Eglinton & District Darts League but their lead has been cut to 11 points with just four games remaining.
Last week, McKeever’s defeated Donaghy’s 8-6 after a hard-fought affair while the Rising Sun ‘A’ string reduced the gap after gaining maximum points following their visit to Eglinton C.C.

Campbell Jackson claimed victory in the Nicholl's Supermarket sponsored Eglinton & District Darts League, Singles Cup last Thursday night in Gort Na Drum.

McKeever's maintain lead in Eglinton Darts League

WITH seven league games remaining in the Nicholls Supermarket sponsored Eglinton & District Darts League McKeevers are the team to catch as they maintained their 12 points lead at the top.
Rising Sun A and the Well A kept the pressure up with sound wins.
Gort Na Drum and Eglinton CC shared the spoils and Longfield A had a very good win over their Longfield B colleagues and Donaghys B also came out on top against the Foyleview. (full article...)

Eddie Donnelly (McKeever's) won the annual Memorial Singles Shield competition last Thursday night held in Donaghy's Bar.
Eddie held his nerve in a tense final to win by 4-2 against Sean McKinney (Longfield B).

The final itself was of the highest standard as was the whole night’s darts.

The league would like to congratulate Eddie on his achievement, coming out on top in an entrance of 50 players on the night to win this respected competition.

Semi-Finals - Paddy McElhinney 0, Eddie Donnelly 3: P McElhinney 3x100,140; E Donnelly 3x100,2x125,180 max,(15 darts);

Gerry McCormick 0, Sean McKinney 3 - G McCormick 2x100,105; S McKinney 3x100,125,132,180 max,(14, 18 and 19 darts).

Final - Eddie Donnelly 4, Sean McKinney 2: E Donnelly 8x100, 2x121, 3x140; S McKinney 9x100, 3x140, 180 max.
