Treble delight for ace Nigel -m 29 April 2009

Nigel Monkman was the star man in the Pickering Darts League finals, winning the three finals he competed in.
In the Individual event Cropton’s Monkman easily defeated Horseshoe’s Mike Brown 3-0 at the semi-final stage, finishing in 23, 21 and 19 darts.

It was the same scoreline that saw Black Swan’s Andy Strangeway home against Recreation Club’s Steve Taylor.

In the first leg Strangeway hit top form with two 140s and a 100 to finish in 15 darts.

Charity darts action

The Graham Horsfall Charity Pairs Darts competition organised by the Pickering Darts League will take place at the Recreation Club on Sunday February 22, commencing at 3pm.
The first prize is £250 and the entry fee is £6 per pair.

To enter or for further details contact Kev Wilson on 07768521022 or at the Horseshoe Inn, Pickering.
