Salvador clinches open singles tournament series

KUWAIT CITY : It was another interesting Friday for a large number of ‘darts men’ when the Alpha Phi Omega Kuwait Alumni Association held its Open Singles “One day tournament series” at the Handball Gym of the Kazma Sports Complex, Adailiya. Kennedy Salvador stood out among the competitors when he completed a landslide victory. The organizers had earlier decided to make use of the “501 and 701” modes of play in which the elimination round contenders needed to use the “501” approach in the best of 3 games. All the winners were placed in the winners bracket while the losers ended in the losers bracket, where they had to compete in the “701” knock-out matches. The initial round saw that well-oiled Kennedy Salvador ready for some real action right from the start as he went on to control his games against Lenz Bayot and John Ferrer.
