"I Started playing darts in the garage at home when I was 5 years old.  My first competition was an under 18 competition when I was 12years old, which i won. Darts only got really serious for me around two and half years ago when I realised i could make good money at it."

Dolan set for world stage

Belcoo darter, Brendan Dolan, will realise a life long ambition later this month when he takes to the stage to compete in the PDC Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship at the Alexandra Palace in London.

Dolan fought through 170 other throwers at the last qualifying event in Telford at the weekend to get down to the last 8 and secure a place in the biggest competition in the darting world.
