from the email stack... 4th Annual San Diego Memorial Steel Tip Dart Tournament

Download the .doc file of the flier by clicking this link

Hi Darters,

Please join us this year for our 4th Annual San Diego Memorial Steel Tip Dart Tournament. The Tournament will be held 3 days this year, with a blind draw on Friday, November 6th , 7:30 pm. The blind draw pays out 90% of all entry fees. The tournament also pays $6,000 guaranteed, which is up from last year’s event. The $6 K does not include the blind draw.

This year we will also offer a full bar, above and beyond beer and wine. Please help us to keep all drinking within the hall, since this is a primary way for the tournament to make money to pay prizes and sustain the tournament for next year. We ask that people do not drink in the parking lot, nor bring drinks into the hall.

Cheers,

Charles Bradish

Gold Coast Shoot Out II, $5,050 ADO sanctioned event - Oct 10 - 11 2009

Just a reminder for those that don't know, The Ventura County Dart Association is putting on Gold Coast Shoot Out II, $5,050 ADO sanctioned event, on Oct 10 - 11 2009. I know this conflicts with the Colorado shoot, but there was nothing that could be done. Anyone not going to Colorado, feel free to stop by and visit us at the Ventura County Fair grounds. You can find the flier on our website www.vcda.org

I hope we have a few more Women darters come out this year. Last year we had very few women.

Players pointing at world darts title

* 2009 World Darts Federation Cup XVII

Competitors practice Thursday during World Darts Federation World Cup XVII at the Blake Hotel in downtown Charlotte.

The dart teams from Ireland, Switzerland and Trinidad and Tobago gather outside the Blake Hotel in downtown Charlotte on Thursday for a cigarette break.

Up the stairs and inside a 52,000-square foot ballroom are the teams from the Netherlands and England. They take their darts seriously over there. They came to the United States to win, not to smoke. You think they need tobacco? They don't need tobacco. They have beer.

It is 9:41 a.m. My early favorites to win the World Darts Federation World Cup XVII: the Netherlands and England.
