GARY ANDERSON claimed victory in Group One of the 2011 Championship League Darts, defeating Wes Newton 6-1 in the final at Crondon Park after the Fleetwood ace picked up his first-ever win over Phil Taylor.
Anderson will now return for October’s big-money Winners Group in the internet-streamed event, which sees players compete in eight-man groups in a round-robin league phase before the top four contest each day’s Play-Offs.

One of the main questions I receive when discussing the merits of a pro tournament in America to corporate sponsors is " What are the demographics?" and "Who are your audience?" Even when I speak with dart and equipment manufacturers, they don't have viable data on who we are and the consumer purchasing power we represent. Stalking Strategy: a strategy for the first two turns in Cricket
I get many requests from Flight School enrollees for suggestions as to when to score or close, which drew my attention to this subject.
Watching and playing in many matches and discussing this subject with many players of Cricket over a long time has suggested to me there is a need for a set approach (strategy).

Most of us who have known her for many years refer to this 45 year old long time national circuit player as “Doe” and remember her in the early days, as Doreen Sweeny. That would be pre-marriage to hubby Darrell, fourteen years ago. Doreen is a strong, firecracker of a personality, that never hesitates to let her opinions and voice be known when it comes to darts, the organizations, strategies, and well just about anything else about darts that she can think of.
