Rare home outing for Anastasia

Russia's first ever darts world champion, Anastasia Dobromyslova, is making a rare competitive appearance in her homeland this weekend at the national championships.

Dobromyslova, now based in the U.K., won the 2008 Women's World Championships and has gone on to compete with the Professional Darts Corporation - the game's governing body - alongside the top male players. (full article...)

SALTHOUSE DARTS

DAVE Pettifer threw a fabulous 18-dart checkout in the latest round of Salthouse Darts action.

Also in good form was John Ainsworth, who hit a 20-dart knock-up in the George Hotel-sponsored league.
