While a 7-2 defeat for Pontyberem and District Darts League division one leaders Pontyberem RFC at the hands of Miners Arms, Trimsaran, is unlikely to prevent them from appearing in the play-off final, their opponents could be any one of two clubs from division two who are only a point apart with one game left to play.A 7-2 victory by Cross Hands Hotel at Carway AFC B pushed them well into contention for the second spot on offer in the league play-off final.
Pontyates RFC sat out the action last week and resume against a New Lodge team that defeated Carway Social Club B 5-4.
