KUCHING: Royal Customs and Excise Department (Kastam) retained their title at the Maksak Sarawak 2008 darts competition by beating Medical 6-3 in the final at Sarawak Industrial Promotion and Exhibition Centre here on Sunday.
The championship was decided over four matches in the men’s team, men’s singles, mixed doubles and women’s doubles.
The foursome of Bandi Gerianane, Roslan Sahari, Delin Manggoh and Dani Abon gave Kastam a winning start by collecting the first point (1-0) in their match against Medical’s quartet of Rossi, Mohd Rosli, James Hilary and Mansian Sujang.
Medical replied with Shaipollah beating Abdul Razak Rahman 2-1 in the singles to tie the score 2-2.
