The Summer Darts League is supporting a charity event to commemorate the life of Betty Middleditch, who died last week.
Her son Steve is raising money to help buy equipment for the Northgate Hospital where Betty received the very best of care in her final weeks of life.
The Summer Darts League drawn triples will be moved to Friday, September 26, and on the same night charity male and female singles competitions in honour of Betty will take place.
The competitions are open to anyone who wishes to take part, at a cost of £2 per person.
The two competitions will be played to the last pair with the finals being played on the Summer League finals night on Friday, October 3 at the Merlins Club with both the winners receiving a voucher for £25 and the runner-up a voucher for £20.
All the entry fees, plus the proceeds from a raffle, will go to the Northgate Hospital fund who will have nurses at the finals venue to receive the donation.
Entry forms will be available from John or Val Graver, The Lady Haven, The Lichfield Arms, Merlins Social Club or by calling 01493 858462.
