After taking a short break from darts, spending a few weeks with family and friends in Tenerife, Bob Anderson, The Limestone Cowboy, will go into hospital on Monday 27 September for a replacement left knee.
Bob, 62, who retired from the PDC tour in 2008, has suffered for many years with chronic knee pain, following cartilage removal after footballing injuries in his youth.
He hopes to be in the Waterside Suite of Weston super Mare hospital for just 3 days, and will then recuperate at home in front of the Ryder Cup.
Bob will return to his darting exhibitions from December 2010, and any enquiries about these, after dinner speaking or any other bookings can be made via firstname.lastname@example.org
All the best to Bob and his family and we wish him a speedy recovery!!!
