Phil Taylor was made to work hard for his fourth-round victory over Ronnie Baxter in the Budweiser UK Open.
The champion of two years ago established a 6-1 lead before being pegged back to 6-5, still needing two more legs to advance from the best-of-15 match.
“It was hard work,” said Taylor.
“He never gives in and doesn’t know when he’s beaten, he’s a very good player"
