Barneveld has just joined the PDC Premier League
Raymond van Barneveld marked his debut in the Professional Darts Corporation by thrashing Ronnie Baxter 8-1 in the Holsten Premier League in Blackburn.
The Dutchman, who has left the British Darts Organisation, went 5-0 up with four 180s, before Baxter briefly stemmed the tide in the sixth leg.
Phil Taylor was in ominous form, beating Wayne Mardle 8-6 and world number one Colin Lloyd 8-1.
This year's PDC world runner-up Peter Manley lost 8-4 to Roland Scholten."
