"South-West Regional Final - Day One
DENNIS PRIESTLEY'S run of form continued, as he saw off Phil Taylor on his way to the last eight of the Budweiser UK Open South-West Regional Final.
Priestley is one of the eight qualifiers for Sunday's final play at The Merlin, the scene of his 5-4 victory over Taylor.
He also went to a deciding leg in his clash with Keith Deller, which he won to earn a place in day two.
He will be joined by Ronnie Baxter, Andy Jenkins and James Wade, who also came through Saturday's play at The Merlin.
Mark Dudbridge, Darren Latham, Robbie Widdows and Adrian Lewis also won through to Sunday's final stages from The Woodlands Edge qualifier.
Latham overcame Colin Lloyd 5-2 in their clash to earn a place in the last eight of the event."
