Professional players get a chance to win big in ESPN’s World Series of Darts
Football has the Super Bowl, hockey has the Stanely Cup and darts now has the World Series of Darts.
Fulfilling their commitment to “spreading professional darts worldwide,” the Professional Darts Corporation, in partnership with ESPN Original Entertainment and Embassy Row Productions, organized the World Series of Darts to air on ESPN this July.
Jim Askham, treasurer of Windy City Darters, will coordinate the Chicago-area qualifying event taking place March 5 at the Purple Hotel in Lincolnwood, Ill. For Askham, darts is a close-knit social tradition."
