Barry Hearn's plans for world darts

Barry Hearn, Chairman of the PDC, has hinted that the World Championship finals may move to a new home. He also told BBC London there are moves for a new competition between players from the two rival codes.

PDC Launch Grand Slam of Darts

The Professional Darts Corporation, the Premiership of Darts, will stage the ground-breaking £250,000 Grand Slam of Darts tournament from 17-25 November 2007, with a massive £60,000 prize to the winner.

The tournament will involve finalists from major tournaments over a two-year period from both the Professional Darts Corporation and BDO/WDF circuit. Planet Darts: Grand Slam of Darts
