DARTS HERO ALEX, 10, MAKES HIS MARK

"Alex Hall was chuffed that he helped his dad’s team, Cowes Liberal Club, after stepping in as a last-minute substitute. It is believed he has also become the youngest player to appear in the Cowes League."

WHEN a Friday night darts league side were a player short last week, a ten-year-old boy stepped in to save the day and led the team to victory.

Somerton Middle School pupil Alex Hall, of Crossways Road, East Cowes, was with his father, Bill, a member of the Cowes Liberal Club last Friday for the team’s home match against Plessey.
