San Francisco Darts Association SF Open 2006 - Write up & Results

"Par Riihonen decided to come from Sweden as his aunt lives here. He's one whale of a player! In Friday's blind draw doubles I saw him put up 3 180's in two legs of a best of three. I expect him to be in the hunt today as I believe his doubles partner is a local named Don Campos who's at #102 in the current ADO ranking.

John Kramer is the husband of Anne Kramer (sleepykramer). I'm certain he has ice water in his veins. One cool character and as funny as they come! I defer to sleepykramer on this character as there is so much to him you'd need a book to get it all in! Though I must add that he's one lucky guy, as Anne is about as wonderful as they come! Surprisiningly her Sewa-darts.com avatar really does represent who she is as a person. Happy, confident, fun and engaging! SEWA is blessed by her presence Wink

Curiously enough kids are drawn to powerful people as adults are and mine was just mesmerized by John during the cricket finals. Afterwards
we walked over to him and congratulated him on his win, and he offered
my boy a set of his darts. Pure old school class is the only way to describe John Kramer.

John Denich is SEWA's own ochekid, and he's the other half of that 11 dart
wonder yesterday. He's drinking the same 'kool aid' as John Kramer bring your poker face and prozac if you're gonna go up against this guy.
Lights out Darts, that sums up his game! Wish you well in Colorado next weekend John!

What I didn't know about ochekid is that he's Canadian by birth and so shares darting roots with Chris White (CW). For most of us in the Bay Area CW is THE local icon of the game, but ochekid showed his prowess against CW yesterday in an awesome way. The final member in the Canadian triumvirate here is David Fatum, who's living in Arizona these days, David is currently ranked at #29 in the ADO rankings and has one of the smoothest easisest strokes I've seen. Makes we want to video tape it, and keep it for reference.

Awesome players one and all. Source link - SEWA-darts.com & Dartplayer.net: "
