decision to so quickly take 'The World Series of Darts' off US
prime time TV after a ratings decline?
TD: Disappointed is probably not the right word. I think, with
hindsight, the slot which the event was given was ambitious
scheduling and hence the expectations for its rating was
probably too high. But it is encouraging to see that since the
channel switch the ratings have been very good for that slot, so
ESPN have been heartened by this. We hope to be able to make an
announcement about next years event within the next 4 - 6 weeks.
