THE first round of matches in the Vic Young South Tyneside Super League’s singles competition took to the oche at five venues across the district.
At the Westoe, Gary Aspin beat Mark Newsome and Kevin Casey saw off Jackie Shone.
On board one at the Catholic Club there were wins for Robbie Young and Billy Todd, while on board two Jamie Harte and Paul Johnson triumphed. (full article...)
