A TEENAGER from Middleton-in-Teesdale has proved she is in the top flight of her local darts team after being selected to represent England.
Seventeen-year-old Kirsty Hutchinson has only been playing team darts since last July but her skill with the arrows has led her to being picked to play in a championship competition.
The teenager, who studies childcare at Teesdale Comprehensive Sixth Form, started showing her talent for the sport after joining the County Durham Youth Team.

Kirsty said: “To travel to competitions it costs quite a lot – sponsorship would help to pay for entry fees to competitions, and travel. It wouldn’t be a lot of money but it would really help.”
If anyone can help Kirsty achieve her goal contact the family on 01833 640182.
