WHEN you have been world No1 in your sport on five separate occasions the only way is down.
But adopted Cumbrian Alan Warriner-Little is determined that at 44 he can still make a major impact on the darts world.
“I think Dennis Preistley is 59 now but he’s playing fantastic,” said Alan. “He’s gone from 28 in the rankings to two or three.
“For this game you need to be more mentally fit more than anything else. It’s all down to the will to win.”
