Colin Lloyd and Phil Taylor continue to battle it out for the official World No.1 spot ahead of the World Championships.
Taylor missed the double-header in Scotland, allowing ‘Jaws’ to open up a 24 point gap at the top of the world rankings. Lloyd reached the quarter-finals of both the Players Championship event and UK Open Scottish Regional, before losing to Adrian Lewis and Raymond Van Barneveld respectively.
