A member of the Diffusers team, Monnaie’s recent triumph was in last Saturday’s first edition of the Shreeji Singles Tournament played at the Cascade community centre.
The 47-year-old, who is actually going through a purple patch, was once again in devastating form and threw the darts well to hit the big points to beat Paul Dugasse 4-0 in the best-of-seven 501 final to pocket R1,500.
