The Grand Bahama Gold Cup team will be travelling to Nassau this weekend to play against Abaco and Nassau teams vying for the annual Gold Cup. The tournament venue is the Corner Hotel Carmichael Rd & Faith Ave. The Tournament starts at 8pm on Friday February 6th, 2009 and runs through all day on Saturday.
This year's team for the Ladies: Julie Nicholls, Anishka Maycock, Ann Pratt, Loretta Pratt and Wendy Carroll.
The Men's team consists of Wayne "Fish" Copeland, Prescott Minnis, Ashley Poitier, Anderson Lewis, Zeke Lewis, Anthony Lindsay, Edison Butler, Evie Heild and Leroy McIntosh. The Coach for the team is Peter Duncombe and the Captain is Byron Johnson.
On behalf of the team we would like to thank everyone who worked at and supported our cook-out last weekend.
