Mardle heaps praise on Klaasen

Wayne Mardle reckons Jelle Klassen is one of the best players on the PDC circuit and could be a contender for the top spot.

The Dutch starlet shot up the popularity stakes in 2006 when he won the BDO World Championship, but within a year he had switched codes.

While he has yet to reach the final of the PDC World Championship, Mardle thinks it is only a matter of time before he does and showcases his talent under pressure. (full article...)

Wade storms to Ricoh Arena win over van Barneveld

JAMES WADE stormed to his first victory in the 2009 Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts with an 8-4 comeback win over Raymond van Barneveld in Coventry.

Wade, last year's Premier League runner-up, had made a poor start to the competition with a draw in the opening week and an 8-1 loss to Mervyn King in Edinburgh.
