KINGS Arms (Oreston) have begun the new campaign in a rich vein of form, winning both their matches 8-3.
In their defeat of City Social, Mike Whatley (100x17) was consistent throughout, registering the week's top out shot of 126 in the doubles before emerging a winner in the individual phases, aided by a leg in 16 darts.
Bruce Harrison (100x13) was also prominent and recorded a 17 dart leg as he came through 3-0 in the singles.
Reigning champions Hill Park returned from The Windmill with a 9-2 win, a victory that puts them four points clear after just two weeks of competition. (full article...)
