DARTS: COUNTY fanatic Tony O’Shea enjoyed more success on the British Darts Organisation circuit last weekend when he won the Scottish Open tournament in Renfrew.
O’Shea, the beaten finalist last month at the Lakeside World Championships, beat Sheffield’s Martin Atkins 5-4 in a thrilling final.
O’Shea looked to be cruising at 4-1 up, only for Atkins to rally and level the scores at 4-4. However, O’Shea, who picked up £2,000 in prize money for his efforts, produced a stunning 12-dart winning leg to take the trophy. (full article...)
