DARTS: FRIENDSHIP were knocked off the top of the Middleton Men’s Thursday League despite beating Middleton Junction 6-1 in last week’s round of games.
That was because Grove (Blackley) played a double header against White House and beat them 7-0 and 5-2.
The dozen points gained by Grove took them two points above Friendship who have the comfort of knowing they have a game in hand.
At the other end of the table, Victoria lifted themselves off the bottom with a 5-2 win over Lancashire Fold. Oddfellows were beaten 5-2 by Middleton Con Club. (full article...)
