Have you ever thought that playing long format 501 is the key to improving your performance in tournament play? Does the best 2 out of 3, single elimination format leave you wishing you had more of a chance to prove yourself? Would you like to have singles events that prepare you for more competitive levels of play? Would you like see a better payout structure for dart events?
If you said "yes" to any of these questions you will want to look into participating in a Major League Darts local or tour event. Major League Darts tournaments intends to give dartplayers an opportunity to challenge themselves and their peers in long format play and earn better payouts.
The basic format will be 501 straight on double out, round robin and knock out brackets to determine to overall winner. Players not advancing out of the round robin into the winners bracket will play in a consolation knock out for the consolation payout.
There will be a Major League Darts Local Event at the Bench Warmer on Saturday April 2, 2011 @ 12noon. Online registration and other details can be found at:
